Nora Tennessen is a documentary and narrative editor. Her credits include three seasons of the Netflix documentary series Explained, and the documentary features Kusama: Infinity (Official Selection, Sundance Film Festival) and The Times of Bill Cunningham (Official Selection, New York Film Festival).

She worked with the Wall Street Journal's special documentary team to edit Chain Reaction: Why Global Supply Chains May Never Be the Same, a feature which won the New York Press Club Award for Best Documentary in 2023. She was an editor on “Empire Skate,” a feature documentary for ESPN's 30 for 30 series (Official Selection, 2025 Tribeca Film Festival). Most recently, she edited the feature documentary “With an Acre,” following the Brazillian architect Carla Juaçaba, which will screen at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and around the world, in the summer of 2025.
